If you are no longer in full time employment and feel there is something missing in your life maybe Barnsley & District u3a has something you can get stuck into? We offer over a hundred different activities. Physical activities from motorbiking to walking to gentle exercise and dance. Activities to keep your mind active like board and card games, reading, crafts, history – even Cosmology, Birdwatching and Walking Cricket. Our Groups are led by members and members drive the development of new activities.
We are holding an Open Day at Barnsley Civic on 24th September from 10.00am - 3.00pm. There will be displays of work produced by our groups, the chance to watch , or even join in, a jiving dancing session and test your knowledge about what you know about Barnsley.
Pop in and satisfy your curiosity - we will be very pleased to see you and chat about our organisation!
